Whatever you've written; a fantasy novel, science fiction, mystery, romance, a literary novel or a non-fiction book, text or thesis, we may be able to help.

But, before you contact us, please read the following.

You need to know who is reading your ms. Will it be an editor? Will it be one of the freelance editors to whom you addressed your correspondence?

Take a look at what we're offering you, and see if you think it's something we can reasonably promise to follow through on .

• We will edit a sample (five pages maximum) of your work at no fee.
  
  
• We will read your book. That means that an editor or editors associated with this page will read and edit your manuscript. It won't be someone who hasn't ever edited a manuscript before, reading it for us.
  
  
• We will comment on your book as fully as we can, making whatever suggestions for improvements, changes, additions or deletions we think necessary or desirable.
  
  
• We will return your manuscript to you in as timely a fashion as we can.

But do remember that the the neater the manuscript is and the better-proofread it is, the faster we'll read and the less we'll cost. (Note: We do reserve the right to refuse to work on any manuscript which we think, for whatever reason, is outside our capabilities.)

We read best in Courier 12pt, otherwise known as Courier 10cpi (characters per inch).

All paper manuscripts must be accompanied by a floppy copy (which we will return) in one of the following formats: MSWord, WordPerfect 5.1, AmiPro, (now WordPro) Rich Text Format, plain ASCII text. It goes much more quickly if we can edit onto your disc -- and is, therefore, cheaper.
